first days in nepal

The first day in nepal was exhausting but fun. The first day we were picked up by are friend Namgal. It is really hard to drive here that is why we didn't get a rentil car. Nepal is the fifth poorest country in the world , it is so poore that there is load sharing where the electricity is shared in groops so there is a limated amount of electricty for every naborhood and most people have ganorators yestarday we went to Swyambu a big temple and I will try to get some pictures on for you soon. Hi Cameron. I missed you today at the winter wilderness olympics. It was really fun and it would have been even more fun with you. My favorite event was the hunt and feast triathlon, in which you had to pull a sled to a certain point and there were sticks you had to throw at targets and then you had to make a fire and burn through a string that was tied between two trees. Are there any animals that you can see in Nepal? Are the birds different? Are you in the mountains? Matthew

Hey Ganeshers......
We are so glad that you are there and all settled in. Please send our blessings to Ram and Chunta and Pemba (when he arrives!)
We miss you here in Spokane where the weather has been SUNNY and warm...we actually raked leaves today and made a trip to the dump with a full Toyota! Your truck has come in so handy....we have used it mucho! Thanks.
We had the Budster here for awhile but Sarah and Eileenie missed him sooo much that we had to take him back early. I personally delivered him - to make certain that work was still in progress at 'Ganesh, Spokane' - and so I report that all is going well there....not to worry, Ric!!!
We love you all tons and wish you a wonderful visit!
xoxo Jeffie and Kimi
PS. We want pictures : )
