Samos Island in Greece

We ran across this little newly hatched Chameleon while we were hiking! It climbed up Cameron's arm! We had some of the most beautiful hikes through terraced hillsides and great mountainous areas here....amazing!

Hi Cameron! I sure wish we were there on the islands there with you guys! While we were gone, spring arrived here but it's still chilly. And Stephen has to work so it's just not the same as travelling every day and seeing new things. After we left Delphi, we spent a few days in Arahova and stayed there for their Saint George Festival. We also did some archeological sleuthing ourselves. Using Sophocles' play "Oedipus Rex", we found the exact spot where Oedipus killed his father at the "place where 3 roads meet" (And the Rough Guide and Lonely Planet have the location all wrong!) I'll send the picture as soon as I figure out how to do it. On our last full day we drove up to the ski slopes in the snow on Mount Parnassus in the morning and then had lunch on a beach eating calamari in the hot sun. Where else could you do that, I ask? Thanks for the link to your blog. It will be so cool to follow your journey although I admit to being very jealous! Say hello to your parents. One of the best parts of our trip was meeting you guys. Take care, Hilda

Have some good adventures for me! I am here working. The lake is high now, and the weather warming up some. Should be nice when you guys come home.
